About Sons of Oil Ministries

Sons of Oil Ministries delivers practical, in-depth teaching and training, designed to equip you to be producers of the promises of God in your life, your ministry, your family, and your nation. As an apostolic and prophetic ministry, we go as the Lord directs to teach and impart foundational understandings equipping you to live in the promises of God.

Our meetings are anointed with the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit, poured out for each unique group, to equip you to receive the deeper truths of the revealed Word of God whereby you may be set free.

Greetings and Welcome!

We are excited to have you visit us and get to know more about our ministry. We believe that just as you have found us here, you will find something within our ministry and our messages that will be a blessing in your life.

Sons of Oil Ministries is a non-denominational company of Christian believers. We are much like the early churches established in the days of the apostles where the focus was on building faith in Christ Jesus and His teachings on the inside of the person. Our manner of ministry gives us the liberty to go and do as the Lord directs. Our tenants of faith are rooted and grounded in the Holy Bible, God's inspired Word.

We are called by the Lord to serve the universal Body of Christ. He sends us to the nations and to our neighbors to deliver Holy Spirit inspired teachings to a particular place and specific people.

In service to the universal Body of Christ, we train and equip leaders and saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the Body of Christ.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

We believe the triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Man by voluntary transgression fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God

(Genesis 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21).

The sole redemption of man is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe that on the cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ became sin and sickness, providing both eternal salvation and divine healing for all mankind.

We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

We believe the evidence of salvation is the direct inward witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16) in the heart of the believer. The outward evidence to all men is the publicly observable life of righteousness and true holiness.  

We believe salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works will determine rewards in eternity.

We believe in the tenets of the Lord's supper. "And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat: this is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way He took also the cup, after supper saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.' Let a man examine himself and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup" (1 Corinthians 11:24, 25, 28).

We believe that all believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the endowment of power for the Christian life and service, the bestowment of the gift of the Spirit for the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9).  

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which is written in Heaven (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

We believe in the second coming of Jesus, His soon return for the gathering of His saints.

JAMES L. FLOYD

James L. Floyd is a Christian minister with an apostolic calling and co-founder of Sons of Oil Ministries alongside his wife, Sabrina. He is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God by raising devoted disciples, equipping Christian leaders, and preparing the Church to fulfill the great commission.

His ministry is marked by seeing souls saved and working with men to become spiritually mature believers demonstrating the character of Christ. James is committed to equipping others with deeper understandings of God’s Word through personal discipleship and spiritual guidance, as understood in the Word of God, in real life situations.

Guided by the divine call of Jeremiah 1:4–5, his ministry extends beyond local communities to reach nations in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, as well as Asia, where he has ministered the Word of God.

James is delighted to work the field of souls with his bride, Sabrina.

SABRINA A. FLOYD

Sabrina A. Floyd is a Christian Minister with an apostolic and prophetic calling. She is a co-founder of Sons of Oil Ministries, with her husband James L. Floyd.

She is a gifted communicator with a distinct ability to convey and impart deeper understandings of the Word of God. Sabrina is recognized by many as having a uniquely anointed teaching gift for the equipping and maturing of the Body of Christ. Sabrina is most often ministering to those who have a desire for deeper spiritual understanding. As a result of her ministry, others have seen the promises of God produced in their lives. She believes that God desires to show Himself mighty in the lives of His true Church!

As the Lord leads, she ministers in the nations, including North and South America, Europe and Africa.

The call of God for her life was revealed to her from the scriptures.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you:

I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5

Sabrina considers it a great joy and privilege to experience the many adventures in the Lord with James, her husband and friend.
